Sandia National Laboratories (in the US) have been developing these "Right Size" breeder reactors for mass production. With right size, they mean about half the size of a large office building. The reactors are planned to produce between 100 and 300 MW thermal power and are designed to be proliferation resistant. You can read more about it on Sandia's webpage or on the Scientific Frontline.
